The Story Behind the Name
Legacy is a deliberate word. Central Vietnam’s inheritance is twofold: the monuments — Huế’s citadel and royal tombs, the old trading houses of Hội An — and the living culture around them: bronze casters at their furnaces, garden houses where recipes outlive their cooks, stories that never made it into stone. Vietnam Legacy Tours was founded in Huế to look after both, one small group at a time.
The Heritage Road
Our work runs along one arc of country — from Quảng Trị through Huế, over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An — with the cruise piers of Chan May and Tien Sa along the way. We keep our scope to Central Vietnam on purpose: it is the ground we know best, so the guiding stays expert rather than stretched.
How We Work
Every VLT route is designed and curated by our founder, Lưu Đức Ngọc — a licensed guide and history graduate who has led more than 1,000 tours across Central Vietnam since 2013. The guides who lead your day are licensed locals he personally selects, briefs and trains, so what you read on this site is what you hear on the ground. No commission stops, no borrowed itineraries, published timings — and for cruise guests, days built backwards from your ship’s all-aboard time.
