- 8:30 AM – Hotel Pickup
Driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel to move to - First Stop: Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang
The Tomb of Emperor Minh Mạng – the second emperor of the Nguyễn Dynasty, completed over three years, is the eternal resting place of the king after his passing. The tomb can be considered a standard of feng-shui, covering an area of 15 hectares with numerous structures of varying sizes. Early morning is a wonderful time to admire the scenery here, with lakes and symmetrically built structures along a main axis, everything in perfect harmony with nature. - Second Stop: Tomb of Khai Dinh
The next stop is the Tomb of Emperor Khải Định – the tomb of the 12th (1916-1925) emperor of the Nguyễn Dynasty, built on half of a hill with an area of only 1 hectare. However, this is an incredibly impressive tomb not only for its East-West architectural fusion but also for its extremely elaborate and beautiful decorative patterns. All of this partly reflects the personality of Emperor Khải Định. Join your guide to learn more about the life of this emperor through stories and understand the situation of the time. - Third Stop: Tomb of Tu Duc
Our next destination is the Tomb of Tu Duc, built between 1864 and 1867. This site is not only a final resting place but also a place where King Tu Duc once resided, blending his life’s history with his afterlife. Spanning approximately 12 hectares, the tomb complex is divided into a temple area and burial grounds, inviting you to explore the peaceful surroundings. - Lunch Break
Following the historical explorations, enjoy a well-deserved lunch break, where you can taste the local flavors of Hue. - Fourth Stop: Thien Mu Pagoda
After lunch, the driver and guide will continue to take you to Thiên Mụ Pagoda – a pagoda located beside the Perfume River, built in 1601 by Lord Nguyễn Hoàng. This pagoda played a vital role in stabilizing the religion of Đàng Trong (South of Vietnam) as well as for the Nguyễn Dynasty later on. After visiting the pagoda, the guide will take you down the Perfume River by dragon boat. A car will pick you up at the boat dock to take you back to your hotel. The tour concludes.
1:00 PM – Return to the Hotel
The tour concludes as we drop you off at your hotel at 1:00 PM, filled with unforgettable memories of Hue’s rich cultural heritage.
