Meet your guide at the designated meeting point. Listen to the guide’s explanations about the Imperial City (Hoàng Thành) and the Forbidden Purple City (Tử cấm Thành) of Hue, where you will spend approximately 2.5 hours exploring and strolling within its expansive grounds. Learn about the history of the Nguyễn Dynasty, the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. Admire the typical and prominent structures inside, such as: Thái Hòa Palace – which was recently reopened on November 23, 2024, Hiển Lâm Các, Cửu Đỉnh, Thế Miếu, and Kiến Trung Palace – also a newly reopened structure after 5 years of reconstruction. After exiting the Imperial City, the guide will take you by electric car to visit a traditional and very characteristic garden house of Hue. You will gain a better understanding of the culture and lifestyle of the local people here. At the end of the program, the guide will take you back to your hotel in the city center.
